Lamont Gaillard is one of the most overlooked players in this years draft class. During his final couple of seasons on the Georgia football team, Gaillard did nothing but excel. He was one of the best interior linemen in his junior season and this year was named All-SEC, an award he richly deserved. During his time in Athens, Gaillard has gone from a struggling defensive lineman to one of the best OL in the country. That achievement cannot be underestimated from a lineman.
Despite this, Gaillard isn’t generating much buzz in the draft community. He doesn’t have elite physical traits so he’s been overtaken by a lot of other players on people’s draft boards.
