Saturday’s rain-shortened (or should I say lightning-shortened) game was one where not too much (offensively) was shown, but plenty could be gleaned.
As I’ve stated in the past, I don’t do game recaps (you can find those by the boatload, from writers with far greater access than me), but what was clear on Saturday is the running game will be a formidable one. There’s not a back on Georgia’s depth chart who won’t have the chance to contribute—including A.J. Turman when he’s healthy.
If they all can stay in top form, they will be a tough crew to contain for four quarters and, as far as offensive tackle John Theus is concerned—if Georgia can win ball games simply by having good production on the ground—that’s fine by him.
