Georgia football got some tough news on Friday as long-time commit Jamil Burroughs chose to de-commit from the 2020 class.
When I did my feature on Burroughs, he was the No. 241st overall, 24th DT, and 26th prospect in Georgia.
Burroughs had a few bad showings in camps since then, and it’s reflected in his current rankings. He has dropped to the No. 326 overall recruit in the nation, No. 32 in the state of Georgia, and the No. 31 defensive tackle according to 247Sports.
There had been many reports that Burroughs had been taking a lot of unofficial visits to Alabama and that he may not finish in the final list for Georgia’s 2020 group.
