Georgia football has suffered another injury in fall camp. This time it was freshman tight end, Lawson Luckie.
Luckie out of Norcross, suffered the injury during Georgia’s scrimmage last Saturday. Marc Weiszer of the Athens Banner-Herald reported that Luckie will need to undergo surgery. The timetable of when Luckie will be back is unknown.
Obviously, it sucks losing such a talented player. But Georgia did sign two tight ends in the 2023 recruiting cycle. So, expect Pearce Spurlin, the other freshman tight end to get a ton of looks and possible playing time as a result.
