When I heard Faton Bauta was named the starter for the game tomorrow, I was two things: surprised and intrigued.
I was surprised because it finally seems like Brian Schottenheimer has seen the light where Greyson Lambert is concerned, and intrigued because I really don’t know what to expect now that Bauta is going to be the guy.
For the first time this season, I don’t know what to expect from the offense–and that’s a very good thing!
Here’s what I do know: I watched Schottenheimer patrolling the sidelines at Jacob Eason’s game last Saturday night, and the offense Eason plays in is a spread (not much unlike the one Bauta played in during his high school career).
