In 2018 Georgia football signed the No. 1 offensive guard in the nation, Jamaree Salyer. The 6-4 325-lb. Salyer played football for Pace Academy in Atlanta, Ga.
Since coming to Georgia, Salyer has played in 26 of 28 games. He played extensive snaps in three games in 2018 and played on the field goal unit. He played extensive snaps in five games in 2019 and played on the punt coverage unit. He has also seen time as the backup center.
Salyer also saw his first starts in 2019, at right tackle, including starting the Sugar Bowl against Baylor.
