Georgia football lost Isaac Nauta last season to the NFL Draft which left Charlie Woerner as the most experienced tight end on the field.
Woerner has flown under the radar since he got to Georgia but has had glimpses of greatness.
He had three catches against Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl and helped the Dawgs get that victory.
Last season, he had 11 catches for 148 yards. Throughout his entire career at Georgia, Woerner has 25 catches for 298 yards.
He has the chance to double that in 2019 because he doesn’t have to share the load with Nauta.
