Goodbye NFL, hello WWE? That might be the case for former Georgia football linebacker Amarlo Herrera.
No longer in the league, Herrera bolted to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida to join a tryout with 39 other athletes, wrestlers, strongmen and martial artists.
The tryout takes place over three days and is led by former WWE and New Japan superstar Matt Bloom, better known as Tensai, A-Train or Albert. Other members of the WWE Performance Center who aren’t superstars helped Bloom in training the athletes.
