Georgia Football aims for another 93K Day with G-Day 2019

G-day is Saturday, April 20th for Georgia football. The annual spring game between the red and the black squads that Georgia fans can see in Sanford Stadium for free.

Two years ago, in his first year as head coach, Kirby Smart challenged Bulldog Nation to show up and come to the scrimmage. Well, the fans answered and thus the birth of 93K Day it was.

That first G-day in Smart’s era was incredible. People lined up anywhere they could just to see this spring game.

The university stated there were 93,000 people there, but in my opinion, it was closer to 96,000 because people lined the walkways, the corridors going up to the upper deck.
