Georgia athletic director Greg McGarity revealed that there will be improvements to Sanford Stadium’s bathrooms in a letter addressed to fans Thursday.
According to the letter, the bathrooms will be “expedited and completed” before the 2017 season.
The news comes several weeks after the program approved a $63 million project to build new locker rooms and a recruiting area at Sanford Stadium, which brought disapproval from many fans who wanted an improved gameday experience instead. Earlier this month, McGarity acknowledged that the university would look into fans’ concerns.
Here’s the full letter from McGarity:
“In an effort to enhance the game day experience for our fans, we are pleased to report that planning for Phase III of the Sanford Stadium restroom renovations currently under way and scheduled for completion prior to the start of the 2017 season.
