Georgia is heading back to the NIT with home-court advantage.
The Bulldogs accepted a bid to the postseason tournament and was given a No. 2 seed in the bracket. Georgia's first-round opponent is against Belmont and will take place Wednesday at Stegeman Coliseum at 7 p.m. Georgia hosted Belmont in the first round of the NIT last year.
If the Bulldogs, it will see a second-round matchup against either Georgia Tech or Indiana on Georgia's home court.
After falling to Arkansas in the regular-season finale, Georgia ended up as the No. 8 seed in the SEC Tournament thanks to two upsets that occurred last Saturday.
