Five-star safety Richard LeCounte III is gearing up to go through his first spring practice at Georgia later this month. He is also trying to help Bulldogs men’s basketball coach Mark Fox pull in former Hinesville (Ga.) Liberty County teammate Will Richardson.
According to UGASports.com, the early-enrollee safety is joined by current UGA point guard JJ Frazier in trying to convince Richardson that Athens is the right place for him. The 2018 four-star point guard prospect is also being recruited by Auburn, Butler, Clemson, Florida and Georgia Tech.
LeCounte helped lead Liberty County to the Class 4A GHSA basketball state title in 2016.
