Georgia cornerback Eric Stokes has quietly had a strong season in the Bulldog secondary, and on Saturday night in Atlanta he continued his solid play.
Stokes came into the game with 15 tackles and eight pass breakups, but tonight was tasked with his biggest challenge of the season going up against a plethora of talented Bama receivers.
And one media member who doubted Stokes in Saturday’s matchup was Lars Anderson of the Athletic. Before the game, Anderson tweeted a prediction stating Tua Tagovailoa would have a massive day targeting receiver Henry Ruggs, who Stokes was matched up on for much of the game.
