Georgia Conspicuously Absent From All-SEC Team

League champion Alabama unsurprisingly led the way with 10 members on the coaches' All-SEC team released this afternoon.

Georgia on the other hand placed only one player, senior offensive tackle John Theus, on the first team. Two 'Dawgs, linebacker Leonard Floyd and defensive back Dominick Sanders, earned second team honors. I don't think anyone expected Greyson Lambert to necessarily earn first team QB honors. That nod went, quite rightly, to Mississippi State's Dak Prescott. But the numbers bear out something that was expected before the season started and turned out to be 100% accurate: Georgia played a bunch of true freshmen (23 in total) and others just moving into the limelight.
