Former Georgia cornerback Tyson Campbell has been selected in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Campbell heard his name called with the first pick of the second round. He’ll be joining the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Campbell came to the University of Georgia as a highly touted five-star recruit. He helped lead American Heritage High School (Plantation, Florida) to a state championship in 2017.
Campbell was a three-year starter for the Bulldogs and started at corner in all 10 games in 2020.
Last season, he finished with 29 tackles, including 2.5 for lost yardage, and five pass breakups (tied for team-high).
