Georgia sophomore cornerback Juwuan Briscoe, who had a strong spring practice and put himself in position to earn a lot of plying time this fall, was arrested on two traffic-related charges Saturday night in Athens. He was picked up for not wearing a seat belt and driving without a license.
These charges are misdemeanors and carried a $500 bond for each charge. He was arrested by University of Georgia police, then released shortly after 10 p.m. local time.
Briscoe is the fifth Bulldogs player to be arrested since Kirby Smart took over as coach in December.
