Another Georgia Bulldogs standout has gotten the nod for a college football award "watch list."
Junior tight end Jeb Blazevich is on the watch list for the Wuerffel Trophy. The award is "college football’s premier award for community service" and is presented by the All Sports Association in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
While the trophy recognizes good behavior and community service, it is unfortunately named after a former Florida player in the form of quarterback Danny Wuerffel. Can’t win ‘em all I suppose.
Blazevich is one of 88 names on the list and will need to combine exemplary community service with both athletic and academic achievement to come out on top.
