Georgia Bulldogs Self Report The Silliest NCAA Violation

The Georgia Bulldogs are the latest team to report a silly NCAA violation, because the governing body of collegiate athletics just doesn’t make much sense. But you already knew the latter.

So what did Georgia cross the line on? The Athens Banner-Herald reports that the Bulldogs “provided pictures which were taken during a campus visit via social media” to football recruits.

Following is the rule UGA violated this past February 21st:

The bylaw violated was 13.10.2.7 which pertains to photographing prospective student athletes. NCAA rules allow a school to snap a picture of a recruit during a campus visit for use in such things as a media guide but the photo can’t be provided to the recruit.
