Georgia Baseball’s Locey and Hancock named semifinalists

Georgia baseball’s Tony Locey and Emerson Hancock received more good news this week.

Locey became a semifinalist for the Pitcher of the Year award that the College Baseball Foundation presents every year.

Emerson became a semifinalist for the Golden Spikes Award and the Dick Howser Trophy.

Locey currently has a 10-1 record with a 2.55 ERA and 1.07 WHIP. He’s got 86 strikes outs and 23 walks on the season.

His latest win came against Alabama on Friday when he pitched six innings allowing one run on four hits while retiring and walking four batters.
