The Georgia baseball team found itself back in the Top 10 Monday after five-straight victories in Athens. A sweep of the Presbyterian Blue Hoses capped off a perfect homestand at Foley Field, which helped the Bulldogs rise to No. 8 in this week’s D1Baseball rankings, their highest position of the season.
Last week included victories over Alabama State, Jacksonville State and a sweep of Presbyterian. Now, Georgia has just one non-conference game left before SEC play begins, though Georgia Tech is still sprinkled throughout the schedule.
The Bulldogs travel to Atlanta Wednesday for the first game of a home and home series with Georgia State but the second stage takes place next week in Athens.
