The Georgia Bulldogs baseball team was swept this weekend by the #6 LSU Tigers. Georgia falls to 8-13 overall and 0-3 in conference play. LSU improves to 16-5 overall and 3-0 in SEC play.
Game 1
Georgia came out strong in the top of the 1st. They scored 4 runs in the top frame but gave LSU 2 in the bottom half of the 1st. Then, LSU would break it open with 4 of their own in the second inning, taking a 6-4 lead. Georgia would strike in the top half of the 5th for 3 runs, now trailing LSU 9-8.
