The Georgia baseball team set a record six consecutive wins versus Georgia Tech from Apr. 11, 2017 to May 8, 2018. After losing two of three (dangit) to the lowly Yellow Jackets in 2019, the Bulldogs began a new positive streak Friday night by winning a 6-5 thriller at Foley field.
UGA students and fans filled the stadium as expected despite temperatures in the low 40s, a steady breeze and, as always, little shelter against that breeze except the Georgia fan in the next seat.
Emerson Hancock (2-0) got the win, and Ryan Webb earned the save.
