Georgia baseball will make its 12th overall appearance in an NCAA Regional for the 2019 NCAA Tournament.
The Bulldogs will host its sixth regional this year at Foley Field. Georgia has won four of five previous regionals in Athens, advancing in 2001, 2004, 2006 and 2008.
This year is the second straight year the Bulldogs hosted a regional. The last time Georgia hosted back-to-back regionals was in 2008-09.
Then Georgia got the news on Monday that it’ll be the No. 4 seed in the NCAA Baseball Tournament. That ranking is the highest in school history.
