The injury came when Davis tried to tackle Arizona tight end Daniel Fells, who had jumped into the air. Fells’ knee rammed into Davis’ arm.
Davis met with the media Sunday night and seemed confident that Sunday wouldn’t be his final game of the season.
“I’ll be back,” he told the media. “I’ll be ready to go. I can guarantee that. I’m not missing the Super Bowl.”
Davis — who starred at safety for Georgia safety — knows about returning from injuries. From 2009-11, Davis played in only nine total games because he tore his ACL three times during those years.
