On Friday evening, Miami graduate transfer Lawrence Cager announced his intentions to join the Georgia Bulldogs, adding immediate help to a receiving corps that lost three key players to the NFL Draft.
Cager, a native of Baltimore, will be graduating from Miami in May and will be eligible to play in 2019 for the Dawgs. Georgia beat out Penn State, Iowa State and Oregon for the services of the 6-foot-5 receiver.
After losing Mecole Hardman, Terry Godwin and Riley Ridley to the NFL, there has been chatter recently about Georgia’s depleted group of receivers heading into 2019.
