Former Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm has earned preseason playing time this year for the Buffalo Bills after serving last year away from the team as the squad’s reserve COVID-19 signal-caller.
The second-year pro is battling for the team’s backup position with former No. 1 pick Mitchell Trubisky and Davis Webb.
Fromm made an appearance in each of the Bill’s three preseason matchups, including his first ever NFL snaps in week 1, and looked formidable at the very least, completing 21 of 36 passes (58%) for 172 yards and added 17 yards and one touchdown on the ground.
