The first three rounds of the 2020 NFL Draft came and went, and Jake Fromm was still waiting to hear his name called. That call came on Saturday with the 22nd pick of the fifth round (167th overall) by the Buffalo Bills.
Fromm made his way to Athens and UGA signing with the Bulldogs as part of their 2017 recruiting class out of Houston County High School in Warner Robins. He competed with former Georgia quarterback Jacob Eason for the start in 2017 with Eason edging out Fromm. Fate would intervene and Fromm would come in off the bench for an injured Eason in the first game of the season.
