Day two of the NCAA basketball tournament's round of 64 gets underway this afternoon, and we can only hope it's as instructive as day one. What did we learn on day one? Well among other things:
- You can never count on Purdue. Including and especially if you're an actual Purdue fan.
- Playing the Ivy League champion in round one is a no-win proposition. If they beat you you look bad, if you beat them you're still going to end up working for them.
- Kentucky remains capable of ruining more feel-good stories than a hack director at the Hallmark Channel.
