Four Georgia Bulldogs make USA TODAY preseason All-America teams

On Wednesday, USA TODAY released its preseason All-America teams, which included four Georgia football players on the first and second team combined.

On the first team, Georgia placed two players — offensive tackle Andrew Thomas and safety J.R. Reed.

USA TODAY spoke on both Thomas and Reed’s selection:

Thomas continues to make enormous strides as Georgia’s blind-side protector — his next stop is the first round of the NFL draft.

Reed has started every game across the past two seasons since joining Georgia as a transfer.

On the second team, Georgia has running back D’Andre Swift and kicker Rodrigo Blankenship.
