Recently, former UGA linebacker Jake Ganus took to Twitter to give UGA’s newest recruits some valuable advice as they approach the college level.
It’s the time of year for some spring highlights. A PSA to high school kids:
Tackles = do not equal highlights. Getting dragged 5 yards and hanging on is not a highlight. Come out of your hips and put someone on THEIR back. That is a highlight.
Ganus played at UGA for one year in 2015 after transferring from UAB. He was a fan favorite in Athens where he provided high intensity and solid play on the field, as well as a great deal of football knowledge, as proven by the technical advice in the tweet.
