The NFL Preseason officially concluded on Thursday, giving teams 48 hours to make some of the toughest cuts of the offseason.
Unfortunately, that meant a few Bulldogs were likely going to lose their job over the weekend, including wide receiver Terry Godwin.
The seventh-round draft pick was released by the Carolina Panthers on Saturday, despite having success at Georgia for four seasons and getting drafted. Teammate Elijah Holyfield was able to make the 53-man roster, however.
