A former Georgia Bulldog great signed a contract with the Columbus Lions in the National Arena League on Monday.
Defensive back Dominick Sanders, who played at Georgia from 2014-2017, will be taking his talents indoors. Sanders starred in the defensive backfield for the Bulldogs for four seasons, with his career-defining play coming at a crucial time in the Rose Bowl Game vs. Oklahoma.
The 6’0″, 193-pound Peach State native recorded 156 total tackles with 96 solo and 60 combined in addition to 16 interceptions.
Sanders joins former Auburn Tigers running back Kamryn Pettaway in signing with Columbus, where he will look to re-ignite his professional football career.
