Former Tennessee football TE transfers to Georgia

Eli Wolf, a former Tennessee football tight end and graduate transfer, will use his final season of eligibility in Athens with the Georgia Bulldogs.

Wolf, a preferred walk-on at Tennessee, received a scholarship offer to play for Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs, as Dan Harralson of the Vols Wire first reported.

Now, the incoming redshirt senior will join tight ends Ryland Goede and Brett Seither in Athens, adding to the depth chart, with Isaac Nauta leaving for the NFL and Luke Ford transferring to Illinois.

While in Knoxville, Wolf had 8 receptions over the course of two seasons, with 78 yards and a touchdown.
