Former Georgia standout Quentin Moses dies in house fire

Former Georgia defensive end Quentin Moses was one of three people who died in a Georgia house fire early Sunday morning.

Moses, 33, was found unconscious in the Monroe, Georgia home and was later pronounced dead at Clearview Medical Center, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Moses’ wife Andria Godard, 31, and her daughter Jasmine Godard, 10, were found dead in the home.

Moses, who played at Georgia from 2003-06, was a first-team All-SEC selection in 2005 and finished his Bulldogs career with 25 sacks.

Moses was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the third round of the 2007 NFL Draft.
