Cameron Nizialek, the former Georgia punter and graduate-transfer out of Columbia University will be suiting up with a different team this spring than first expected.
The Orlando Apollos signed Nizialek to a contract in 2018 but former Georgia punter is now a member of the Atlanta Legends instead. The Appolos and Legends are a part of a new league called the American Football Alliance which is set to debut in February of 2019.
Nizialek joins seven former Bulldogs currently on the Legends’ roster, including quarterback Aaron Murray. The team’s first game is against, you guessed it, the Apollos of course.
