The Highland Park, Texas, native was one of the most highly-touted prospects in the country that year, and one of the most hyped players UGA has gotten in recent memory. He was lured to Georgia in hopes of thriving in the Bulldogs’ pro-style offense.
And thrive he did. In his three seasons at UGA, Stafford passed for 7,731 yards (which ranked third at the time in school history).
