Fellow Georgia Bulldogs standout Thomas Davis is one of the greats to come though the program, both on and off the field.
Gearing up to play in Super Bowl 50 with the Carolina Panthers, Davis has won the NFLPA's Byron "Whizzer" White award. The award goes "to the player in the NFL who goes above and beyond to perform community service in their team's cities and hometowns."
The honor is far from uncharted territory for Davis, who just last season was named the NFL's Walter Payton Man of the Year.
At age 32, Davis is set to play on Super Sunday for the first time.
