Former Boxing Champ Wants 2016 Georgia Recruit Son At Different School

Last week, the Georgia Bulldogs got a big recruiting pickup for the 2016 signing class when Atlanta area running back Elijah Holyfield decided to stay in the Peach State and head to Athens.

As it turns out, his father (former boxing champions Evander) wants the prized recruit heading somewhere else for his playing career and education:

“If you go to college, you go to get an education. That’s why I tried to get him to go to Notre Dame.”

“What are you going to do from 25-75? Education is the key. Life is more than football, just like life is more than boxing.
