Florida quarterback Feleipe Franks went 17/27 last Saturday with 2 touchdowns, 2 interceptions and a fumble. However, the Crawfordville native was very vocal on the sidelines, making sure fans in the stands and on TV knew he could get the job done.
Ironically, Franks would go on to throw a crucial interception just minutes after his in-game chirping.
The junior quarterback received plenty of heat on the internet for his antics, which he discussed on Tuesday.
“I don’t need anybody’s approval. I’m myself. I’m my own person,” Franks said, according to the Orlando Sentinel. “At the end of the day, that’s what makes me who I am.
