For the first time in his NFL career, former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Matthew Stafford will not be suiting up in a Detroit Lions jersey.
After being traded to the Rams, the former No. 1 overall NFL draft pick will be looking to start the second chapter of his career in Los Angeles.
And ESPN’s Mike Clay projects that second chapter to open with a solid start.
He recently projected Stafford’s 2021 stats with the Rams, and has him throwing for 4,570 yards, 25 TDs and 12 INTs on 399/610 passing.
25 touchdowns in 17 games would not be much to write home about, so let’s hope Stafford can beat out that projection and top 30.
