The Horse Dawgs, led by a dominant performance from senior Meg O’Mara, were in Auburn over the weekend for the SEC Championships and returned home winners.
This marks their second SEC title in the last three years, and second overall in five times the event has been held (South Carolina won the first two in 13 and 14, we won 15, Auburn won last year). They will head to Waco, Texas April 12th through the 15th in hopes of their 7th national title under coach Meghan Boenig when Baylor hosts the NCEA National Championships (we won in 03 and 04, 08, 09 and 2010, as well as 2014).
