Former Georgia running back Elijah Holyfield strung together a successful three year career in Athens. He really showed out during his junior season, topping 1,000 rushing yards and scoring seven touchdowns.
Now, the big, bruising back looks to join the existing group of NFL superstar running backs to come out of Georgia.
Holyfield recently spoke exclusively with Draft Wire, discussing a wide range of topics.
Holyfield spoke on what changed for him in regards to his jump into stardom in 2018, following 300 career yards prior to his junior season.
“The biggest thing that changed for me was the opportunity,” Holyfield said, referring to Nick Chubb and Sony Michel’s departure.
