Georgia junior Elijah Holyfield has come to a decision on his NFL future. The four-star running back and son of boxing legend Evander Holyfield will be leaving Athens for the NFL Draft, forgoing his senior season of eligibility.
A native of metro Atlanta, Holyfield graduated from Woodward Academy in the spring of 2016. Tuesday, he joined fellow Bulldog running back D’Andre Swift in the 1,000-yard club of Georgia rushers.
As a proud Woodward Academy student myself, I can confidently say that we will miss him playing for the Bulldogs. Best of luck in the NFL to the ‘Real Deal Holyfield’!
