According to Georgia football’s Snapchat account, Tuesday was the program’s picture day. One “snap” showcased a photo of junior defensive lineman Trenton Thompson in full pads, pants and his red No. 78 Bulldogs jersey.
UGA coach Kirby Smart has remained optimistic that Thompson could return for the fall since he withdrew from school for “medical reasons” in February. Thompson could re-enroll in classes at Georgia this summer.
Thompson has been visible around the program throughout the spring. He has been doing conditioning work and shoulder rehabilitation with the Bulldogs sports medicine staff.
The UGA defensive lineman was the nation’s top high school prospect in 2015, according to 247Sports.
