The Denver Broncos signed tight end and fullback Orson Charles earlier this week. Charles, a Georgia Bulldog, will look to make the Broncos’ roster.
The former Bulldog will have two preseason games to make his case: tomorrow night versus the Los Angeles Rams and next week versus the Arizona Cardinals. Charles was previously with the Cleveland Browns, where he played sparingly last season. ESPN’s Adam Schefter broke the news:
Charles can help give the Broncos depth and experience. The Broncos are beat up at both the tight end and fullback positions with rookie Noah Fant suffering a sprained ankle several days ago.
