The Denver Broncos have released former Georgia Bulldog Orson Charles. Charles previously played with the Cleveland Browns as a tight end and fullback. Charles was among four veterans the Broncos cut ahead of the 2019 season.
Charles will look to find a new NFL home. With injuries ahead, there’s still a lot of NFL roster transactions that haven’t taken place yet. Charles can provide experience, but has a smaller body frame for an NFL tight end. Charles was in a tough situation in Denver, since he only had a week to learn their playbook. UGA great was signed by the Denver Broncos on August 21st.
