I mentioned a couple of days ago that UGA strength and conditioning coach Aaron Feld occasionally posts some behind the scenes videos from offseason workouts. Today he did it again, showcasing defensive tackle John Atkins squatting nearly 500 pounds for three reps.

It's certainly not a record (I think Gerald Anderson may still hold the UGA squat record by lifting 660 pounds), but it is the aggregate just slightly less than a Volkswagon Beetle.
