With George Pickens having gone down with an ACL injury this spring and Georgia not having Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint available due to injury, plus the hyperextended knee scare of Jermaine Burton, the options at the outside receiver positions have dwindled this spring. Having a big bodied receiver with tremendous athleticism and dexterity like Pickens is a luxury for a quarterback and a headache for opposing defensive coordinators. You cannot just straight up replace a talent like George Pickens. There is a reason that Pickens is a former 5-Star and before his injury was considered a virtual lock for the 1st round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
