Georgia coach Mark Richt announced today that redshirt sophomore defensive back Tramel Terry will be transferring in search of more playing time.
Terry was a big time prospect out of Goose Creek, South Carolina when he signed with Georgia fresh off being named the Palmetto State's Mr. Football. But Terry suffered a torn ACL in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas high school all-star game and never seemed to quite get back on schedule after the injury. He bounced between receiver and defensive back before settling in the defensive backfield in 2014. Last season Terry actually played in 10 games, making 10 tackles, and even snagging an interception in Georgia's 66-0 win over Troy.
