Coaches John Lilly and Kevin Sherrer have been both excellent recruiters and solid developers of talent during their time in the Classic City. They're now the latest Bulldog assistants to get raises (they'll now earn $350,000 apiece). As Dean Legge notes this now puts the UGA staff behind only Alabama and LSU in total compensation. While staff pay doesn't guarantee wins, there's a strong correlation between making the commitment to pay the best assistants the best money and winning football games.
